If you’re in the loop of constantly striving to get things “right,” struggling to say no, or feeling anxious and burned out from trying to keep up with everything, it can start to feel overwhelming to maintain.
You may find yourself overthinking decisions, being highly self-critical, or feeling like you can’t quite settle, even when things are going well. Over time, these patterns can become mentally exhausting and difficult to shift.
In session, we focus on understanding what’s driving these patterns and aim to develop a more flexible, sustainable way of thinking, responding, and relating to yourself.
Client Focus
Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Young Adult
Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is collaborative and grounded in understanding your experience without judgment. The therapeutic relationship is an important part of the work, creating space for you to feel heard, understood, and able to explore what’s beneath the surface.
From there, we work to identify patterns in thinking and behavior that may be contributing to stress or internal pressure, while also building practical ways to respond more effectively. The focus is both insight and change, helping you understand what’s promoting these systems and develop a more manageable way of navigating them.

- Online Therapy Details: Online therapy for adults in Austin and across Texas, with a focus on high-achieving individuals navigating stress and anxiety.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Dr. Amber Quaranta Leech, LPC-S and I work with individuals navigating high levels of internal pressure and stress, often driven by the need to keep performing or get things “right.”
Many high-achievers find that they are stuck in a pattern, I call the High-Functioning High-Achiever Loop, in which there are 9-phases describing the experience several high-functioning adults have. If you think you might be in the Loop, I'd be glad to help support you on how to interrupt it.
Together, we create a space where you can comfortably reflect, examine what’s driving these patterns, and begin to shift the expectations that have become difficult to sustain.
